The Health Planning Academy is the first of its kind, fulfilling a recognised need within the industry to encompass both Service Planning and Planning of Capital/Infrastructure investment.

The benefits of membership include:

Membership eligibility

Those wishing to become members (whether Full or Affiliate) will need to demonstrate an appropriate level of competency, based on a broad list of 35 elements, split into 5 groups:
  • Competency 1 - Health data / Activity Modelling
  • Competency 2 - Health documentation and evidence
  • Competency 3 - Clinical engagement
  • Competency 4 - Spatial planning
  • Competency 5 - Equipment and IT planning
You will also need to provide 3 project summaries (maximum 650 words each) to demonstrate your experience and skills - a TAB (Project Exp 1, 2, 3) is set up for each, please ensure you complete all the details required.

What happens when my application has been recieved?

Once your application is received it will be reviewed by a member of the Health Planning Academy. When we notify you of the success of your application, we will ask you to pay the annual membership fee within 30 days of receiving the notification.

Membership costs

  • Full Membership: £100
  • Affiliate Membership: £50
